Overall the new website looks really good, nice job. *Thumbs up* The only thing I noticed was that the 'KDFSNet IRC Web Interface' on the right brings up the Mibbit Chat, and maybe its because I'm logged in so it chose Mibbit for me instead of Java, that it is a little too large for the mid-section of the page. It mixes with the 'Poll' and 'Who's Online' on the right side of the page. The only other thing was the Forum option in which you're allowed to create content, with one of the options being to create a forum topic. The only difficult thing is that they have to do this in order to get to the forum or type www.kdfs.net/forum in order to get to the general index. Maybe adding another tab up topic labeled as 'Forum' could be cool. Once again, nice addition, very nicely created layout.

Hi CJMan,
Thanks for the input, we've taken on board the opinion and have modified the site. Please let us know if you have any more Ideas.

One thought on the Mibbit Client
When you use the Mibbit Client on the Website, it looks good in the layout, however I don't know how effective it is at the current moment. I have a couple suggestions for things I think would help you guys out a little bit. The first one being - Registering the Channel, #Chat, that the Mibbit Guests enter through. If by chance any curious users come by the Website and use the Chat, they'll be auto-joined into an empty room. So perhaps maybe Kilmarac or one of the NetAdmins can register it and have the Network Ops moderate/idle in there so it looks like it's active. The first part of that idea brings me into my second point. If there are any new users joining and its empty, currently there is no way for them to bring up a channel list with /list. I think it's disabled at the moment, so enabling that might give them a chance to take a peek at the Network if #Chat is empty. Well those are just suggestions, hope I can hear your opinions. Thanks. :)

Another thing that might be
Another thing that might be cool once a good number of the Users on the Network create their accounts here is to perhaps create a Members Portal that lists the Network's Members with information that they want to tell about themselves. Basically the info that you can edit in 'My Account' more accessible to others in attempt to bring the Network together.

That was actually the purpose
That was actually the purpose of this latest inception of the website. When I sat down with my staff to discuss the site my first thing was "Id like to have the website be something like a mini social networking site" Not to be yet another myspace out there, but to provide the users with place that they could create profiles about themselves. This is infact available, albeit, at the moment the URL isnt very user friendly. For example CJMAN, your profile is at http://www.kdfs.net/user/12
Ideally, Im hoping that we can link the network nicknames into the website so that you can associate your IRC information with your web profile. Most of that is simply waiting for services to provide a usable interface (i.e. Mysql) to be able to pull information from.
